ImageThe Tompkins County Public Library’s Youth Services Department will host local resident and retired librarian Richard Tabor’s handmade, Mystery Mansion dollhouse through the month of December.

The ten-room dollhouse features nearly 100 clues to popular children’s stories, nursery rhymes, folk and fairy tales, and patrons are encouraged to enter a contest to see who can properly identify the most titles.

In conjunction with the Mystery Mansion exhibit, the Library is also hosting a display of miniature house scenes created by Girl Scout Troop 74.  The Girl Scouts earned the Miniaturist Badge from the Chesapeake Bay Council in Delaware for their creations.  This exhibit will run through December 28, 2008.
