(Ithaca, NY) - Olivia Restaurant, located in Ezra Cornell's historic Train Station in East Hill, now serves only local, organic, free range chicken and turkey.

Olivia is a regional leader in the local foods movement, using local produce and ingredients whenever feasible, and featuring organic, grass-fed, dry aged beef. Olivia has now has found two more great local farms- Grassland Farms of Ovid for free range, organic chicken and Finger Lakes Farms of Trumansburg for free range, organic turkey. "Our chicken and turkey is not just free range, but its fully pasture raised- meaning the animals are truly free range- typically most "free range" animals only see a few minutes of freedom in their otherwise caged existence. This creates amazing flavor, the chicken actually tastes like chicken. It's well worth it, much more humane, and best of all, you can taste the difference!", exclaims Gregory Silverman, co-owner/ head chef.

"We have had such a great response to using local products, we have been searching for more and more farms and growers!", says Rob Cohen, co-owner. "We are now looking into serving all local chili dogs made with pasture raised pork, grass-fed beef, and local beans. It is guaranteed to be the best and healthiest chili dog you have ever had! We want to continue to sell local organic foods for a great value".

Olivia is part of the Kitchen and Cocktail Restaurant Group, opened in 2004 by the owners of Stella's Cafe & Restaurant. Olivia is open everyday for lunch, brunch, and dinner and offers its own brand of happiness between 4pm-6pm- half price O, Burger & Fries. Sunday is customer appreciation day featuring $22 three course dinner that includes a local drink.
