Referral Institute , the world’s leading referral training organization, announced its spring program schedule here in Ithaca.  The region (covering Tompkins and Cortland counties), is run by networking and referral expert, David Makar.  All programs are held in the South Hill Business Campus located at 950 Danby Road, Ithaca.

A two-hour workshop titled Referral Success 101 will be offered three times a month March - May, teaching participants how to develop a strategic referral network, understand who should be in it, how to find them, and how to motivate them to refer business back to you. 

Taught in a series of 12 interactive modules, the Certified Networker Program begins March 18th and is ideal for small business owners and sales professionals who have grown weary of time- and cost-intensive lead acquisition and cold calling. The curriculum provides tips, tools and techniques to help participants become more effective business networkers.  All participants will leave the program with a customized, referral-based marketing business plan.
