ImageCayuga Radio Group has received two awards in the New York State Broadcasters Association 44th Annual Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting competition, in the categories of Best Public Service Announcement/Campaign and Best Local Interactive Sales Campaign.

Cayuga Radio Group won for Best Public Service Announcement/Campaign for their series of Public Service Announcements supporting the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Snack Program at Beverly J. Martin Elementary. Susan Johnston, General Manager of Cayuga Radio Group, said, “We would like to thank Amie Hamlin and the students at Beverly J. Martin, for their enthusiasm and participation in creating these PSA’s. I would also like to recognize Jason Kester for writing and producing the spots.”

Cayuga Radio Group’s second award was in a new Category; Best Local Interactive Sales Campaign, for their Cayuga Market Place online store. CayugaMarketPlace.com is a site where shoppers can purchase certificates to local businesses at 30% to 50% off. Cayuga Market Place supports local businesses, and helps to keep money in our community. Johnston said, “Big thanks to Autumn Greenberg, who facilitates and manages Cayuga Market Place”.

Johnston went on to add, “This is the second year that we have been honored for our pro-active, locally produced public service campaigns. I thank the entire staff of Cayuga Radio Group for their dedication to our community and our community for their continued support of our programs.”
