ASI Renovations and its sister division ASI Energy announce the consolidation of their operations, with a move into the South Hill Business Campus on Danby Road in Ithaca . The move is a result of growth in the size of projects performed by ASI Renovations, and an increase in ASI Energy's workload as a commercial and residential property energy analysis and consulting firm. ASI Renovations, is a commercial and residential remodeling company. It was founded in 2007, and was previously located in a home office in Ithaca. ASI Energy, www.asienergy.com, specializes in commercial and residential property energy analysis, consulting and retrofitting, to make them more energy efficient. It was established in 2008, and previously located in a home office in Caroline. The two divisions employ seven people. ASI Renovations is currently hiring for two full time positions.
Despite having the two divisions located in and operating our of separate home offices, ASI Renovations and ASI Energy has developed a client list that includes the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, La Tourelle Resort and August Moon Spa, the New York State Police, Autozone, Urban Outfitters, Goodyear, Madeline's Restaurant, Beechtree Care Center, 1st Baptist Church, and many others.
Herbert Dwyer, the President and CEO of ASI Renovations and ASI Energy, says, "People are very aware of the importance of energy conservation and reducing their carbon footprint. We're seeing more and more situations where ASI Energy is being brought in to conduct energy analyses or retrofits on remodeling projects that ASI Renovations is working on, or vice versa. Consolidating our operations into one location will help us streamline them, and better serve our clients while we improve our own energy efficiency, and reduce our carbon footprint, as well."
ASI Renovations and ASI Energy moved to the South Hill Business Campus in early July, and celebrated the occasion with a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 28, 2010.
ASI Renovations is an Ithaca, NY-based home and commercial remodeling company. It was founded in 2007 in Ithaca, and specializes in environmentally conscious construction and remodeling services ranging from light commercial to residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling to quick handyman fixes to Energy Star building. ASI provides complete services from concept to finish. ASI Renovations is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce.
ASI Energy is a leading energy analysis consulting firm, specializing in retrofitting residential, multi-family and commercial buildings. Its services include energy assessments, technical feasibility studies, installation of alternative energy sources, upgrades of lighting, HVAC, and electrical systems, project development, government grants and financing, and construction management. ASI Energy is a certified NYS Commercial Lighting Specialist, and Building Performance Institute Accredited Contractor.
