Tompkins Trust Company participated in national Take Your Kid To Work Day on April 28, 2011 by hosting 11 children, all related to bank employees, for an educational day of touring the bank, crafts, and fun! The children enjoyed:

• a visit with Greg Hartz, President and CEO of Tompkins Trust Company
  an educational, financially-focused activity with accounting;
• a tour of the Mail Room, where the children will learn about the steps involved in getting their letters safely to them;
• a video produced by Internet Banking, focusing on the Trust Company's 175th anniversary;
• an inside look into the bank's various coin, cash and safe deposit box vaults;
• an art project of creating their own banks;
• and other exciting bank-related activities.

"Our employees organized a meaningful day of activities to introduce kids to the work environment," said Greg Hartz, Tompkins Trust Company President and CEO, "It was a fantastic time for the kids, and their parents."
