Tompkins Trust Company has partnered with Trusteer, a leading expert in financial security, to offer customers an extra layer of online protection in addition to present security measures – at no cost.The product, Trusteer Rapport, is a security application that protects against malware attacks and theft of personal information such as User IDs and passwords. It helps keep the computer connection with Tompkins Trust Company website safe from phishing, pharming, keyloggers, session hijacking, and more. Trusteer Rapport can also be used to protect the customer on other websites where financial and personal information is used, such as for online shopping.
It also works in conjunction with existing anti-virus software. Industry analysts at Online Banking Report described Trusteer Rapport as “...a major boost in fraud protection...” and named Rapport “Best of the Web.”
