Triphammer Marketplace will host SpringFest, a free community event May 5, 10am-1pm.  The event will feature live entertainment, free snacks and activities and lots of Mother’s Day shopping.

Entertainment includes Magic & Comedy by David Moreland, Festive Face Painting by Cami & Crew, Ithaca Children’s Choir, School of Rock Bands, Balloon Animals, and Story Telling with Mr. John at Kumon of Ithaca.

The Marketplace will also feature sales and fun from the merchants.  Children will make Mother’s Day cards at Terra Rosa’s design studio and make a Mother’s Day craft at Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Store.  Wandering through The Triphammer Marketplace you can snack on free popcorn and $1.00 lattes at Ithaca Coffee Company, free cookies at The Mall Dry Cleaner and free cotton candy at The Rose Tap Room and Grill. 

Instant Replay Sports' grand opening will feature an 1160ESPN live broadcast and a putting contest, plus free water bottles at Wright Fitness & Cycling and colorful hair extension feathers at Gia’s Elite Style, and door prizes.  Shoppers  will have the opportunity to win a ST Fitness 4710 Recumbent Exercise Bike ($899 value) donated by Advantage Total Fitness Store, plus more prizes from The Marketplace merchants.

New to The Marketplace are guest vendors including The Lansing Farmer’s Market, Sincredible Pastries, Flower Creations, and a photo booth by Isaf-Merkur Studio.  The Marketplace will also welcome the Ithaca Children’s Garden.

SpringFest is the third in a series of community events that the Triphammer Marketplace has sponsored, delivering on their commitment to be the place “Where the Community Comes Together.”
