ALOT: Here's a so-called word with all the class of a painting on black velvet. A lot is always two words. No exceptions. I've heard folks claim they learned alot from teachers who used it themselves. This shows that somebody didn't learn a lot in school. These teachers should write, “a lot” 100 times on each chalkboard in their school.
The Institute for the Linguistically Impaired grants Handicapped Writing Permits to incurable writers of alot. With this permit goes the right to hang black velvet paintings in their homes.
