ImageAurora, NY – On May 1, the Aurora Inn and Aurora Inn Dining Room will return to full, daily operations.  The Inn will be open for accommodations 7 days a week through October 31. The Dining Room will operate according to its spring, summer, and fall schedules. (On its spring schedule, the dining room is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for lunch and dinner; it is open for all other meal periods).

The Aurora Inn has been a fixture of the lakeside community since 1833.  Built in the Federal style with red brick and wide columned balconies, the Inn offers ten exquisite guest rooms and a stunning restaurant with veranda dining overlooking Cayuga Lake.  A banquet room, stone terrace, and lawn and gardens roll gently down to the
water's edge, creating a perfect setting for weddings,
receptions, private parties and meetings.  The fine dining restaurant offers award-winning, classic American country fare, and a carefully selected wine list featuring an outstanding selection of Finger Lakes wines.

The Aurora Inn moved to a seasonal business model in 2008. According to this model, the Inn and its dining room are available exclusively for whole-inn rentals and private events from November 1 to April 30 every year.   Over the course of the past two years, guests have enjoyed the unique opportunity to call an historic 10-room inn their own for family reunions, business retreats, group getaways, and weddings during the winter months.

The other businesses managed by Aurora Inn, Inc.—including the E.B. Morgan House (an exclusive 7-room lakefront mansion), the Fargo Bar & Grill, the Village Market, and Dorie’s Bakery & Café—remain open to the public year-round.
