Complementing the 2012 Mainstage season, the Hangar Theatre brings a magical series of live theatre for young audiences and the young at heart to the Ithaca stage. The Hangar's KIDDSTUFF features live plays and musicals based on children's favorite stories.Based On The Popular Chidren's Book By Melinda Long and David Shannon, young Jeremy Jacob jumps at the chance when a band of pirates needs a new crew member. He quickly discovers the challenges of life on a pirate ship-storms, swabbing the decks, walking the plank. A rousing new musical- pirates, music, and soccer abound!
The KIDDSTUFF season continues with How I Became a Pirate, running July 26-28. This rousing new musical based on the popular children's book abounds with pirates, music, and soccer. Jeremy Jacob jumps at the chance to join a band of pirates and discovers the challenges of life on a pirate ship like storms, swabbing the decks, and walking the plank. The summer KIDDSTUFF season also includes performances of Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! August 9-11 and Seussical Jr. August 23-25.
