Albany- Continuing his support for America's brave men and women serving our Nation, New York State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio is announcing a new program on his website to connect area residents with local soldiers serving overseas. 

As part of the program, Senator Nozzolio is asking all families who have a soldier serving overseas who wish to participate in the program to send their soldier's photo and contact information to the Senator.  The photos and contact information will then be posted on Senator Nozzolio's website .  This will allow area residents to send mail, email and care packages to local soldiers. 
"In numerous conversations with family members who have a soldier serving our Nation, they emphasis the importance these soldiers place on receiving mail, email and care packages from those of us at home," said Senator Nozzolio.  "By visiting my website, people will be able to contact the soldiers and even send them packages to their bases overseas."

Nozzolio is asking family members of a soldier serving who would like to receive e-mail messages or care packages from people back home are encouraged to contact him by e-mail, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .  including your name, relation to the soldier, the soldier's e-mail address, an attached digital photo of the soldier, as well as the soldier's mailing address overseas.

"There is no greater debt than that which is owed to the extraordinary people who sacrifice so much to defend our nation's freedoms.  This special program will allow us to contact our local heroes serving the Nation and show them how much we support them," concluded Nozzolio.
