Lansing seems to be at a crossroads right now. I would like to see the moratorium on fracking continue and a ban on fracking put in place to protect the town's water and environment. So would Katrina and Gay. They would both like to promote tourism in the area and give us a stronger, more diverse economy.
Katrina spearheaded the conversion of Salt Point into a beautiful natural habitat park. She is always willing to listen to different points of view and has worked hard for Lansing in her five years on the Board.
A long-time Ludlowville resident, Gay has been a community leader for many years coming up with practical ways to get things done. She believes in careful planning to protect our town and in finding solutions together as a community.
Pat has been a good friend to Lansing, leading the committee that has brought broadband to many families in North Lansing. She has been a great communicator, keeping residents informed through her email list and presentations at the Town Board monthly meetings.
All three candidates are hardworking, resourceful, accessible, and fiscally conservative and will work hard to protect Lansing's future.
