I am writing in support of Katrina Binkewicz for Lansing Town Board. I have known Katrina nearly as long as she has lived in Lansing and know her to be a gentle, bright, hard-working person who gets more done than 10 of us put together.

Katrina has a long history of positive community service, both as an educator and a member of the Town board, and has participated in numerous local commitees. She is project-oriented and gets things done, without fanfare and grandstanding, by encouraging collaboration and sharing. Her work in reestablishing a natural area at Salt Point is a good demonstration of Katrina's focussed energy and dedication.

Katrina knows, as a former private business owner, the challenges facing small business owners. As the parent of a Lansing High School graduate, she is well aware of the issues facing the school district and its funding needs. She is a long-time resident of the Town and is honest, gracious and open to other ideas and opinions. She has shown she is more than worthy to serve on the Town board.

Let's reelect her to ensure her skills will continue to benefit both Lansings.
