Many times I am reminded how fortunate I am to live in this community. Most recently, Sunday September 4th was one of those instances.

I would like to thank all the people involved in coming to my assistance to remedy the situation of the mother of the groom dress left at Colonial Cleaners (aka MOG dress amber alert).

Thank you to my friends who put out the text blasts and phone calls- and who kept telling me they were SURE it would all work out. They would not let me give up! Thanks to all those individuals contacted who knew somebody and made a call/text or two or three. Special thanks to Glenda Long and Rick Walters . The wedding went off without a hitch and I must say I looked pretty good in that gown.  Lansing is a very special place.
