What a Wonderful Harbor Festival! As Harris Dates said, this park at Myers was built by the community, with leadership by Harris Dates, Charles Howell,Donald Sharpsteen, and others. The Harbor Festival is put on and enjoyed by the community with leadership by Karen Veaner, Ed LaVignige, and others. The park belongs to all of Lansing, although it is referred to as Myers Park. It is really Lansing's Park in Myers. As the DJ said, "It is a jewel on Cayuga Lake." We can all be so proud of of Lansing, and thankful to live here. From: Louise Bement
