Letters"It is better to assess the plant for less than to lose the business entirely."I am no longer being a resident of Lansing, but this quote from their letter to all concerned makes me wonder if AES isn't in deep financial trouble because the increasing cost of Freight and Coal Also in danger of having to shut down because of cost overruns and mismanagement and need to replace major components because of age.
I hope all of this isn't so, but with the business climate the way it is all over the country it gives one pause to have concern.
