Party loyalty associated with previous elections should be a thing of the past. We need to vote for the people who have our interests at heart and that sometimes means crossing long held party lines.
New York State and Washington DC are an embarrassment when it comes to how private and personal monetary gains and agendas seem to influence decisions related to budget appropriations, spending, and priorities.
This 2010 election will determine the future of our state and our nation.
With regard to the candidates running for the NY 125TH Assembly District Seat, Tom Reynolds has a proven 30 year record of business/financial accomplishments. Tom is familiar with and actually has first hand business experience with colleges, nursing homes, and social programs such as Medicare, and Medicaid. Tom Reynolds can pinpoint areas where spending can be curtailed. He believes New York State and Washington DC need to stop spending money they don’t have.
During the Spring, I attended Barbara Lifton’s Town Hall Meeting in Groton. Lifton’s solution for every problem is to create new programs or increase taxes on the citizens of New York. Electing the same people who failed us will not change anything. To put it another way, BARBARA LIFTON, like most of her Democrat colleagues, NEVER MET A TAX SHE DIDN’T LIKE.
We have to get our lawmakers to get real, to get practical, to stop spending money and stop thinking of new programs, and new reasons why NY citizens must come up with more money to fund our town, county, state and federal governments.
Your vote will determine the future of our American way of life.
Be sure to Vote!
