mailmanIn the first debate between Tom Reynolds and Barbara Lifton, she said that New York had not lost jobs.  On October 7, 2010, The Ithaca Journal stated that a net loss of 148,000 jobs from New York was the largest in our country.   Tom offers a remedy to this dilemma—cut taxes.  He has delineated several ways of saving, cutting and governing.

Lifton, in contrast, wants more social programs to help the children.   Tom Reynolds wants to help the children by cutting taxes thus creating local jobs, meaning jobs for parents and older children.  Serve America Act (H.R. 1388) is now a federal law that fulfills Lifton’s aspirations for the children with community service, educational programs, energy projects, national service, and environmental conservation.

To encourage local growth, however, Tom Reynolds has many ideas—cut taxes, cap state spending, eliminate pet projects, meet budget deadline and eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy.
