Ford posted a tremendous showing during last Wednesday's 66-58 win vs. West Chester in a victory that essentially clinched the No. 1 seed in the East for the Huskies as they leapfrogged WCU at the top of the division. The Lansing, N.Y. native packed the stat sheet by finishing with 17 points, eight rebounds, six assists and a block and also turned in crucial plays down the stretch. Her jumper in the paint as the shot clock expired gave the Huskies a 61-54 lead with 2:12 to play and was a key moment in BU holding off a Golden Rams rally attempt. She then put the game on ice with a pair of free throws with 10 seconds remaining.

Ford has taken Athlete of the Week honors twice this season – she also captured the award for the week of Jan. 20.
Bloomsburg (22-3, 13-2 PSAC East) enters the week ranked No. 16 in Division II while riding a 15-game winning streak. The Huskies conclude their regular season schedule by welcoming Kutztown on Wednesday night for a 5:30 p.m. start time at Nelson Field House. Bloomsburg has earned a bye through the first round of the PSAC Tournament and will host a quarterfinal game against an opponent to be determined on Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m. inside Nelson Field House.
