"I would like to thank my parents for all of their guidance and knowledge throughout my entire life but especially in helping me find the right school.  I would also like to thank Coach Hicks Hughes and Coach Matheny for coaching me for the past four years and pushing me beyond what I thought I could do.  Also, my team for bringing me smiles and showing all the support in the world.  Every single practice and meet has led up to this day and I couldn't be happier with my decision to join the Bonas family.  I have been swimming since I was nine years old and I am grateful to have the opportunity to further my swimming career at St. Bonaventure University."

Ferris has been accepted into the Physical Therapy program at St. Bonaventure.  Also in attendance representing Lansing Schools were Superintendent Chris Pettograsso, High School Principal Colleen Ledley, and Business Administrator Mary June King.
