track1The Lansing track and field teams headed north to Southern Cayuga for a double dual meet versus the hosting school and Whitney Point. Both the boys and girls teams secured team victories: the boys final team scores were 128-8 (Lansing-Whitney Point) and 91-45 (Lansing-Southern Cayuga). Southern Cayuga boys outscored Whitney Point, 69-26.

The Ladycats outpaced Whitney Point (102-20) and Southern Cayuga (101-21) while Whitney Point was victorious over Southern Cayuga (47-35).

Over the spring break, the Lansing squads traveled to the Tully Spring Break Co-Ed Invitational, where the girls' team hoped to repeat their victory from last year. They took home the small school title once again, even with only nine athletes competing. Catie Eisenhut won both the 1500m and 800m run, and Emily Gallagher won the pole vault and long jump. Also over the break, Lansing hosted the Bobcats Field Festival, a field-events-only meet. Athletes had the opportunity to focus only on their jumping and throwing events, and strong performances were seen from many competitors. Notably, Gallagher set a new school, facility, and section IV record of 12'3" in the pole vault. Click here for complete results.
