The Tompkins Girls Hockey Association is sending three of their four teams to compete in the upcoming NY State Hockey Tournament in Amherst, NY on March 9th through the 11th, 2018. The three teams participating are the 12-and-under (12U), 14- and-under (14U) and 16-and-under (16U) girls. Winners at each age level will advance to the National Tournament this year in Massachusetts later in March 2018. Of particular note:

• 16U will be part of a 6-team bracket, with each team playing 5 games prior to qualifying for the state championship on Sunday afternoon March 11th
• 14U has 8 teams competing for the state title
• 12U has 8 teams competing for the state title

Teams are coming from all across New York State including Western NY, Central NY, North Country, Long Island and the Hudson Valley. Games will be played over three days at three different facilities (Amherst, Lockport and Niagara Falls).
