The Lansing Girls Basketball team improved their record to 12-2 with wins over Groton and Newark Valley. Lansing defeated Groton at home 45-20, in a game which saw 10 different Ladycats reach the scoring column. They were led by Rachael Palladino with 9 points, MC Barrett with 7 points, and 6 points each by Beth Lader and Ellyn Grant-Keane.
At Newark Valley the Ladcats came away with a hard fought 42-31 victory. In that game Jocelyn Ford led the way with 13 points, while Rachael Palladino chipped in with 12 points. The Ladycats return to action this Friday as they travel to Dryden for an important Division I contest.
