ImageBoth Lansing teams rolled in match last week against Elmira Notre Dame at Rossi Lanes in Elmira, as the boys took all four points with a total pin fall of 2762. Rolling well for the Bobcats were senior Matt Tucci as he started with a 231 and a 628 series, followed by Tim Carlson 216-601 and Harry Herzog's 204-590. Joel Seidman rolled a 511 series for the Crusader's.

On the girls side the Lady Cats had a strong showing by both senior's Ashley Fleming 154-453 & Katy Bland 181-439 and sophomore Katie Jordan 149-424 was right there when she was needed. The Lansing girls total pin fall was 2045 to 1980, as the Lansing girls took three of the four points.

On Tuesday Lansing Boys bowled best of the year but it was not enough. Lansing went to Valley Bowl to bowl Waverly and Jared Joseph rolls an IAC record 815 at us. Jared has games of 247,289,279 - 815 to lead his team past Lansing.

Waverly rolled a fine 3345 to Lansing's 2917 as the first game is decided by just TWO pins. Other fine scores out of Waverly were Mason Beard 681,Cass Austin 649 & Marcus Beard 647. Lansing counted with Harry Herzog's 620 and Joel Teitelboum 604 as Waverly takes all four points.

On the girls side Lansing didn't fair much better as Waverly totaled 2705 to Lansing's 2033. Waverly's Danielle Laure lead all scores with a 615, followed by Ariana Deming's 569. Lansing's two seniors rolled well as Ashley Fleming 445 & Katy Bland's 431 but it wasn't enough. Lansing's next match will be next Tuesday at home against Newark Valley.
