ImageThe Lansing Girls Basketball team improved their record to 2-0 as they defeated Dryden on the road Tuesday 55-15. The team received solid contributions from each available player, Jocelyn Ford led a balanced scoring attack with 16 points, while Stephanie Gonyea had 11 points, 5 steals and a team high 6 assists.

MC Barrett added 9 points and a team high 8 rebounds, Carlene Fields had 7 points, Colby McCartney 6 points and a team high 3 blocked shots, Lydia Warkentin had 4 points and 7 rebounds and Ellyn Grant-Keane had 2 points, 5 assists and a team high 9 steals.

The overall team defense was outstanding the entire game, limiting Dryden to two field goals for the night, while forcing 41 turnovers. The Ladycats return home on Friday with a game against Southern Cayuga.
