	Print				 The Girls Varsity Basketball team improved their record to 9-0 on the season, as they defeated Marathon 50-24 on the road Tuesday night. Last Thursday the Ladycats beat Trumansburg 62-31 on the strength of Ellyn Grant-Keane's career high 22 points, on 10 of 14 shooting from the floor. In addition Grant-Keane had a team high 9 steals.

Last Thursday the Ladycats beat Trumansburg 62-31 on the strength of Ellyn Grant-Keane's career high 22 points, on 10 of 14 shooting from the floor. In addition Grant-Keane had a team high 9 steals.Colby McCartney chipped in with 12 points, while Jocelyn Ford and MC Barrett added 8 points each, with Barrett having a team high 10 rebounds. Carlene Fields had 5 points, Stephanie Gonyea had 3 points and 9 rebounds, Nina Lindberg also had 3 points and Shanna Shaff had 1 point.
Tuesday night the Ladycats playing shorthanded again with only 7 players played outstanding team defense, limiting the Olympians to 23% shooting from the floor. Jocelyn Ford led the way with 17 points and 9 rebounds, while Nina Lindberg added 10 points including a 2 for 2 night from behind the 3 point line. Elly Grant-Keane had another solid performance with 9 points, a team high 10 rebounds, 9 steals and 5 assists. Cobly McCartney added 8 points, and Stephanie Gonyea had 6 points.
The Ladycats host Dryden on Saturday following the Lansing Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony, with the JV contest set to start at 5:00.
