The Ithaca League of Women Rollers’ flagship team, The Ithaca SufferJets, will kick off their season with an away bout Saturday, March 27th at the Rainbow Roller Rink in Towanda, NY.Ithaca’s SufferJets will take on Buffalo’s Suicidal Saucies at 7:30 pm, with an intraleague bout between two Buffalo teams to follow.
This is the first game of the SufferJets season after they closed their winning 2009 season last October. Since then, the league has rapidly expanded, adding a second team for Ithaca to stand behind—the BlueStockings. Both Ithaca teams will bring the sport back home on April 17th for their season opener, also a double header.
This weekend, the action is in Buffalo.
