The Varsity Boys basketball team is having a great season so far with three wins and no losses. The team beat Trumansburg in the opener 52-44 and was led by Ryan Shaff who scored 15 points. The team took a 20 point lead at one point only to see it get cut to 6 late in the game. A few big baskets late secured the win.
The Bobcats then traveled to Dryden where they beat a very good Dryden team 47-42. Again the bobcats lost a big lead and held on for the win. The team was led by Senior Treyson Barresi who scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Lansing's 3rd win of the season came last Friday as they beat Waverly 49-37. The team was led by Senior Chris Rubens who scored 15 points and Sophomore Teagan Barresi who scored 14 points. Great defense in the 4th quarter was the difference as the bobcats held Waverly to 5 4th quarter points.
