Nikki DeanOswego, N.Y. - Oswego State senior women's swimmer Nikki Dean has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for the week ending October 31, 2010.  Dean was undefeated in the five individual events that she competed in this week against RIT and Oneonta.  She was a state champion while on the Lansing High School Girls Swim Team.

Dean was a triple-event winner against the Tigers as she took first place in the 1000 freestyle (11:14.20), the 200 IM (2:20.58), and the 500 freestyle (5:28.23). She recorded first-place finishes versus Oneonta in the 200 yard and 500 yard freestyle events with times of 2:04.64 and 5:30.03, respectively.
