Hillendale Golf Course Director of Golf Mary Novickas LPGA member has appointed Travis Moore as the Club's Assistant Golf Professional. Travis will oversee the daily operations of the pro shop and club house facilities. In addition, he will be on site to give lessons and teach clinics.

Travis lives in Marathon, New York where he grew up and attended school. After he graduated high school in 2003, Travis attended Tompkins Community College where he played on the Men's golf team and earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting. Following community college, Travis attended SUNY Delhi where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business and Professional Golf Management. Travis is currently furthering his golf education through the PGA of America Apprenticeship program, working on becoming a Class A PGA Professional.

Travis's work experience in the golf industry began at Cortland Country Club in the bag room. During his 6 years at this facility his responsibilities increased within the pro shop. This experience helped Travis advance his career and gain confidence in the golf industry. From October 2010 until February 2011, Travis worked at Desert Mountain Club Inc. in Scottsdale Arizona as an outside service employee to acquire new experiences at a golf facility in a different area of the country.

By working at Hillendale Golf Course, Travis intends to utilize his previous education and work experience to further his knowledge and career in the golf industry. Hillendale is excited to have Travis as part of the golfing community.
