GORGES, an Ithaca-based website design and development group, announced the release of a new website for the Tompkins County SPCA. The new website features animals for adoption, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, frequently asked questions and much more. GORGES CEO, Christopher Grant, said: “The key improvement for the new SPCA website is the ability for staff and volunteers to maintain the website through an integrated content management system”.
This new website will make it easier for the SPCA to communicate with staff, volunteers, and community at large about the important work that the SPCA is doing for animals.
Abigail Smith, SPCA Executive Director, discusses the SPCA mission on their new home page: “Sheltering, education, prevention and care are our primary goals. Thank you for helping us and thank you for saving lives by supporting the SPCA of Tompkins County”.
