The story begins with Ladies' Night at Henry Street, a piano bar in Manhattan's West Forties -- but someone forgot to tell the men, because the only customers tonight are three very different (and very talented) women, each searching for love. Through the movie, theatre, and pop songs of Bob Merrill, they compare thoughts on men, relationships, and life... ultimately realizing that "People Who Need People Are The Luckiest People In The World."
The show features a hit parade of songs including "Don't Rain On My Parade," "How Much Is That Doggie In the Window," "Mambo Italiano," and "If I Knew You Were Comin' I'd Of Baked a Cake" and more.
Love Makes The World Go ‘Round is a revusical by Duane Poole (The Love Boat) with stars from Broadway including Jenni Barber, Lindsay Mendez, and Jan Herndon; including music arrangements by Brad Ellis, seen most recently as the teacher/piano accompanist in the Emmy Award winning TV hit series Glee. Love Makes The World Go ‘Round will premiere at the Hangar Theatre for two performances only: Saturday, October 9th at 8pm, and Sunday, October 10th at 2pm.
