ImageThe Lansing Varsity, JV, and Modified programs will change a struggling program with former Lansing Softball coach Randy Randall heading up the Varsity Team with a mix of bunt, slaps, and a strong hitting team and boasts having one of his "best" outfields ever.

Coach Randall understands that he has a challenge at hand and is very patient when comes to turning a program around. Continuity and composure is key to the teams success. Lansing has a core of talented Seniors in Division All Stars in Brittany French and Lauri Bush.

In addition the team has seniors-Kassie Hartz[tri-captain],Lori McKane,Cayla Halton and Kristi Sullivan. Juniors-Stephanie Gonyea,Kari Fenner,Taylor Bandler,Chelsea Tucker and Kelsey Quigley and a very strong and talented group of sophomores in Nikki Arcangeli,Sarah Eisenhut,Nina Lindberg and Kristen LaRock and team manager Exchange student Laurita Sotomayor.

The team lost the opener against Union Springs on Tuesday 5-4 in the bottom of the 8th inning.  "I was very proud of the team," Randall says.  "They played a complete game and I could not ask more of them, but to continue working hard at there individual games."

The team have responded well to the new philosophy and are excited about playing softball again.
