ImageLansing's Varsity Softball Team played another complete game on Thursday by defeating Watkins Glen 5-4 in the bottom of the 7th inning. Winning pitcher Kristi Sullivan went the distance only giving up 4 hits w/5 strikeouts. Although the game was won on Brittany French's 2 RBI single in the bottom of the 7th,it was the entire teams performance that made them successful.

The combination of the pinch running efforts of Nina Lindberg&Kristin LaRock and the timely hits of Sarah Eisenhut, Chelsea Tucker, Kari Fenner, Nicole Arcangeli, Cayla Halton,Kelsey Quigley, Lauri Bush and French plus the defensive efforts by Arcangeli at 1st base,Sullivan's pitching and Eisenhut behind the plate. Coach Randy Randall says, "Composure and patience has been the key to the teams success."  The team is anxious to play games and will travel to Moravia Monday.
