ImageThe Lansing Varsity Boys Swim Team came in fourth in Class C at Sectionals last Saturday, scoring 262 for the day.  Watkins Glenn took first place with 481 points, followed by Chenango Forks and Waverly.  Lansing was followed by Chenango Valley, Greene, Southern Springs, and Odessa Montour in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th places respectively.

Highlights for the Lansing team included: Clement Towner, Tayor Germain, Jeremy Craig and Josh Tull coming in second in the 200 Yard Medley Relay in 1:49.30.  Clement Towner sped to first place in 1:48.74 in the 200 Yard Freestyle.  Tayor Germain came in 6th in the 200 Yard IM.

In the 50 Yard Freestyle Ben Veaner came in 11th, and 8th in the 100 Yard Freestyle.  Marty Aasen scored seventh in diving with 224.40  points.  Jeremy Craig took 8th place in the 100 Yard Butterfly.  Jake Ryan took 4th place in the 500 Yard Freestyle, and Josh Tull fifth place.  Lansing came in 6th in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with the team of Ben Veaner, Tayor Germain, Paul Giannelis and Jeremy Craig.

In the 100 Yard Backstroke Clement Towner again took first place in 56.50.  Tayor Germain finished the 100 Yard Breaststroke in fourth place.  Lansing's 'A' Relay team of Clement Towner, Ben Veaner, Jake Ryan and Josh Tull also finished fourth in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
